How to Make a Big Impact with a Small Garden

Have you ever been frustrated that you only have a small space to garden? Or frustrated that you have an awkward corner of your yard that you just don’t know what to do with?

Gardens don’t have to be large. In fact, the best gardens make the most of every single inch that they’re given. And if they’re designed well, small gardens can make the biggest impact.

Take this wonderful example. These gardeners had a tight, awkward space between the kitchen door, the basement door, and the driveway gates. The whole area is concrete and brick, so a garden is the perfect place to provide some greenery and soften the space up.

Now the space will be a gorgeous first impression for everyone who comes over for parties, grilling (which I can attest these gardeners are excellent at!), or just to hang out. And when the family is ready to move to the city in a few years, this planter will be perfect on their balcony!

Best of all, this garden is sentimental. This native pollinator garden honors an adorable, beloved, and incredible dog. He was a true member of these gardener’s family, and it was an honor to memorialize him in such a beautiful way.

If you’re looking for help with brightening up an awkward space, I’d love to help! All you have to do is visit this link to let me know more about your space and garden goals.
