A Kitchen Garden Pairs Perfectly With a She Shed

Sometimes necessary parts of our landscapes, like sheds, can look a bit out of place. How do you fix that? Add a garden! Your shed will look like it was always meant to be there, gently placed in the landscape.

I designed and installed this garden for a gardener who has been trying for many years but has never really been able to harvest much from her garden. She now has the proper setup to grow anything and everything she wants easily. She also has enough space to grow most of the produce that she eats during the growing season.

My favorite part of this installation was the tranquility that the garden added to the space. This was one of those installations that I never wanted to leave after it was completed because the garden made the space so beautiful, peaceful, wonderful, and restorative. Wouldn’t this be the perfect place to slowly sip in an indulgent morning cup of coffee?

The gardener texted me a few days after her garden was installed saying that she was sitting outside, working by the garden, and listening to the birds. How wonderful that she gets to enjoy every aspect of this garden: the harvests, the beauty, AND the peace created by sitting still in your garden.

I cannot wait to see her enjoy this garden over the years and hear about all of her amazing harvests.

If you’re looking to make an awkward part of your landscape into something beautiful, I’d love to help! All you have to do is visit this link to let me know more about your space and garden goals.
